911±¬ΑΟΝψ professor receives teaching excellence awards

Paul Sylvester, a basic pharmaceutical sciences professor at 911±¬ΑΟΝψ, received two teaching excellence awards in May.

The 911±¬ΑΟΝψ Pharm.D. graduating class of 2006 chose Sylvester to receive the Excellence in Teaching Award in Basic Sciences for 2005-2006. He also received the Rho Chi Teacher of the Year 2006 award, which was voted on by the members of the (national pharmacy) Rho Chi Honors Society.

β€œTo receive these awards was such a big honor,” Sylvester said. β€œIt means so much to me because these awards were voted on by the students.”
