Miss 911±¬ÁÏÍø Pageant set for Oct. 8

The Miss 911±¬ÁÏÍø Pageant is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 8, from
7 – 9 p.m. in Brown Auditorium on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

The Miss 911±¬ÁÏÍø Pageant is a preliminary to the Miss Louisiana Pageant sponsored by the Miss Louisiana Scholarship Organization.

The competitive scholarship program emphasizes physical fitness, talent, public speaking and academics. Contestants must demonstrate poise, personality, intelligence, charm and beauty during the pageant, and must showcase a trained talent in a 90-second performance.

Each contestant must be a full-time 911±¬ÁÏÍø student and also adhere to grade point average requirements in order to compete in the Miss Louisiana Pageant.
